Marketing Offline

With all the hype about Internet Marketing, marketing in the 'real world' gets the short end of the stick in my opinion. If you have something to sell, don't limit yourself to online marketing efforts.

But the thing that drives a lot of us to only market online is that we don't want to be that pushy salesman that most of us hate. Only 15% of the general population appreciates a suave salesman who can sell ice cubes at the North Pole. The rest of us, the rest of your potential customers, don't like a hard sell.

So what should we do?
First, remember that people buy people, not stuff. Whatever you have to sell, whether it's online or off, people buy people not stuff. If you have a website that sells stuff, the number one principle that gets visitors to convert to customers is the credibility of your site. Why do we shop at Amazon.com? Because we trust them to have reasonable prices, the book we want, and to deliver/ship without problems.

Second, learn and follow ten proven steps to marketing. You can read about Success in Ten Steps by following this link and downloading my free eBook.

Third, know that value is always rewarded. For example, I'm giving the eBook mentioned above for free. I do ask for your contact information, but no money. The book will save you years of frustration, and it is the gateway to accessing even more totally free training.

Note: the book, Success in Ten Steps is written to an audience of people who want to be successful at Network Marketing. However, the 10 principles are valid for any business.

Follow these ten steps so that your potential customers will See You, Remember You, and Buy You, without you being the pushy salesman 85% of us don't appreciate.
